The John Daly AwardThis is CREIA’s most prestigious recognition. The award recognizes the longstanding commitment, contribution, and leadership by an outstanding individual who is a long-time, quality contributor to CREIA and the real estate inspection profession. The recipient is selected by past recipients of the John Daly Award. |
Jerry McCarthy Inspector Fellow AwardA person who has provided outstanding service to CREIA for 10 or more years. The award recognizes longstanding quality commitment, contribution, and leadership to CREIA and the real estate inspection profession. The recipient is selected by a two-thirds vote of the Board. Recipients who are CREIA inspector members receive a lifetime reduction in dues, as established by the Board. |
Bob Reeds Inspector of the YearA CREIA inspector member who has excelled in recent years in contributing to CREIA and the real estate inspection profession. The recipient is selected by a majority vote of the Board. |
The President's/Chairman's AwardGranted to any CREIA member who displays exceptional service and assistance to the Chairman during his or her tenure. The recipient is selected by the Chairman. |
Educator of the YearThis award is given to a CREIA Certified Inspector or Affiliate Member who has provided outstanding educational content in a volunteer capacity. The education may be a single course, a series of courses, a certification program, a toolbox, or another program that exemplifies the CREIA educational mission. |
Volunteer of the YearVolunteers are the foundation upon which CREIA has excelled in the industry. While it takes a village, sometimes a volunteer goes above and beyond in contributing time, resources, passion, and expertise. |

About the AwardThis award honors a Chapter that has excelled in programs and activities. Its purpose is to encourage Chapter growth, recognize educational and outreach efforts, and show appreciation for volunteer service at the Chapter level. All CREIA Chapters are considered, and Chapter size is not a factor. The recipient is selected by majority vote of the Board using the following considerations:
