The California Real Estate Inspection Association, Inc. (CREIA) uses text messaging to communicate with members and its registered event attendees. These messages inform registered attendees about events for which they are registered. These messages are strictly limited to the following:

• Two invitations to, or announcements of, an upcoming event (members only)
• One last minute notification of unpredictable circumstance (registered attendees only)
• One sign-in message to confirm attendees' participation at the beginning of the event (registered attendees only)
• One sign-out message to confirm attendees' participation to the end of the event (registered attendees only)
• One link to attendees' certificates of attendance at the event (registered attendees only)
• One link to a follow-up survey after the event (registered attendees only)

Members and/or registered attendees can opt out at any time by simply replying STOP to any of these messages.
